Welcome to the home page for AYSO Region 111. Located in San Clemente, California and includes adjacent Capistrano Beach.  Our nearly 2,000 players  (boys and girls) range from the ages of Under 5 to Under 19 and have the opportunity to enroll in a variety of programs, designed to appeal to age and skill levels, that are conducted on a year around basis.  These offerings are a direct result of the time and effort donated by hard-working volunteers throughout the region.

Soccer News

Hello AYSO Region 111 Families,

UK International Coach Nicholas Upton will be working in our Region this Fall season, providing support to all coaches. He starts on Monday 29th August and is in need of willing host family during his time in San Clemente!

Coaches generally stay for 1 week or more, all have extensive backgrounds in coaching and working with children (all have to be heavily screened to get a visa to work in the USA). Coaches DO NOT require transportation, all that we ask is for suitable sleeping, showering and laundry facilities, and of course we will fully refund you for the tuition of the camp.

Host Family Benefits:

Host families benefit by learning about the British way of life and its cultural differences, whilst enhancing their soccer education. The differences of our language and backgrounds, combined with the love of soccer, ensure a memorable stay and long lasting friendships for everyone.

You will also receive one camp scholarship for every Coach that you host! Plus lots of great goodies from your UK Coach!

Key Points:

  1. UK coaches generally work 4pm-7pm Mon-Fri.
  2. There is no expectation to entertain the coaches - you'll find the coaches quite entertaining themselves!
  3. UK coaches are professionally qualified coaches, experienced in working with children and have been background checked.

  1. Suitable sleeping arrangements - coaches cannot share rooms with family members and, ideally, will have their own private room.
  2. Some family meals if appropriate - you can set your own rules with regard to mealtimes..
  3. Access to laundry and showering facilities.
  4. Any house rules or routines that you wish the coach to adhere to.

The San Clemente AYSO Region 111 Player Development Academy (PDA), conducted by AYSO official partner, UK International Soccer (UKIS), is designed to provide the opportunity for enhanced technical development for the serious and aspiring young soccer player.
Whether your child is playing on a team right now, is taking a break from soccer to participate in other sports or is gearing up for more advanced play in the AYSO EXTRA or PSC program, the PDA will help with skill acquisition and retention to ensure players don’t fall behind and can take their game to the next level. Click here for details.

Field status can be checked on our schedule site. Go to the Active Fields page and look for the field of interest. San Clemente fields are listed under 11 / L / 111.

Field status is generally updated by 7:30 am during inclement weather.
